Lack of Hot Water: This is probably the most obvious sign that there is something wrong with your water heater. If you have a gas-powered water heater, first check the pilot light. If the pilot light won’t stay lit, then a professional technician should be called to inspect the problem. If you have an electric water heater, there is likely a problem with the thermostat.
