Whole-Home and Partial Repiping
If you’ve experienced a frozen pipe, it’s important to call for help before it bursts. The ice in the pipe can continue to expand and build pressure until the pipe material eventually gives way. From west by Lake Zurich to east by Gore Lake, we also perform pipe repairs and replacements due to leaks.
Some leaks are obvious, but if you potentially have a hidden leak, we’ll employ advanced leak detection techniques. Those include video camera inspections, thermal imaging, and acoustic detection.
Houses with older plumbing can be prone to frequent repairs that can really add up over time. In these scenarios, repiping is often the more cost-effective solution. While it may cost more initially, it’ll save money long-term while improving the functionality and convenience of the home.
Our team plans and carries out both full and partial pipe replacement projects. We’ll generally advise a full repipe, but there are scenarios where partial replacement makes sense. Common examples include homes with additions that have relatively new plumbing.
A prevalent question concerns whether we can perform repiping in an occupied home, and the answer is yes. A full pipe installation will always be faster in an unoccupied home, but we know that many don’t have that option. Our team can plan the project around your needs, even if you need to use the home during the day. We’ll often approach the replacement in sections while ensuring we maintain clean and safe work areas.
