Ordinarily, a damaged sewer line calls for digging down to the damaged section of pipe to provide access for repair. That can dramatically increase the cost and inconvenience of repairing even the tiniest crack in your sewer line. Trenchless repair offers another option that’s both less disruptive and less expensive.
Trenchless repair relies on the use of a special, resin-coated liner. To fix leaks and other damage to a sewer line, it only requires accessing the line from one or both ends. That minimizes, and in some cases, eliminates digging. During a trenchless repair, our plumbers pull the liner through your sewer line and inflate a bladder to secure it. Then, we’ll cure the resin in place using heat or UV light. Afterward, upon removing the liner, you’re left with a smooth new inner pipe wall.
We can use a similar method to perform a trenchless sewer installation. In that case, we’ll use special equipment that pulverizes your existing sewer line. Then, we’d pull a new, flexible sewer line through the opening in its place.
